The Stopsport Platform uses strictly necessary technical cookies for the operation of the service and usage analytics cookies to improve the user experience. No advertising cookies are used.
Authentication Cookies
- Purpose: maintain the logged-in user's session
- Provider: Supabase Auth
- Duration: session duration (deleted upon logout or after expiration)
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (service operation)
Consent Cookie
- Purpose: remember the user's choice regarding the cookie information banner
- Provider: Stopsport (localStorage)
- Duration: permanent (until manually deleted by the user)
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (not displaying the banner on each visit)
Usage Analytics Cookies
- Purpose: understand site usage (pages visited, clicks, scroll, anonymized session recordings, heatmaps)
- Provider: Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics
- Duration: variable depending on the provider (see Microsoft Clarity and Vercel policies)
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (service improvement)
3. Third-Party Cookies
Certain technical providers used by Stopsport may place their own cookies as part of their operation:
- Stripe: cookies necessary for secure online payment processing. These cookies are placed only during the payment step and are subject to Stripe's cookie policy.
- Vercel: technical cookies related to hosting, site delivery, and usage analytics (Vercel Analytics).
- Microsoft Clarity: usage analytics cookies enabling anonymized session recordings, heatmap generation, and user interaction analysis. Collected data is anonymized and does not contain any sensitive personal data.

Usage analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics) are placed based on the legitimate interest of the publisher for service improvement. The user may opt out via their browser settings.
An information banner is displayed on the first visit to inform the user about the use of cookies.
